Arrow IF you do that you have overriden mouse cursor for the program so in stop you should use Mouse. Software Developer Senior? We can change the control to draw just the outer part of the circle an arc as a progress indicator. Sacha Barber Jun You are commenting using your WordPress. Using DispatcherProperty. It looks like all the code examples have had a significant portion chopped off.

The Radial Progress Bar control displays a value in a certain range using a cicular sector that grows clockwise until it becomes a full ring.I was having a bad day, and you know what I completely agree with you.

The core idea would be to draw two overlapping circles – one for the background circle and other indicating the progress. We will begin by.Normal, Dispatcher ; animationTimer.

Well fear not, your search is over, here is a very simple idea, just arrange some Ellipses in a circle within a Canvas and do a constant Rotate. The angle could be calculated pretty easily with the following.

NET programmers, so you should teach them proper ways to implement code, not a quick-but-work code I do not feel this is a hack.

Pro tip: If you want the user control to scale with its parent container, put the Grid and Path inside a Viewbox.

While most of the characterstics are self explanatory, the Angle might need a bit of exaplantion.

We will begin by defining certain characterstics of the Cricle or better called Arcwhich we will find useful later on.

Hi, nice component - I was noticing that if you use multiple instances of it, you get an exception since it is only allowed to override the metadata once.

In winforms you solved this with a DoEventsWPF doesn't have that exactly, what you need to do is push an empty DispatcherFrame or empty delegate onto message loop.

Since this UI does nothing else it is simply to get data for a report, the app to be installed on somoene else's computer so I don't have to get the report for himI don't want any UI interaction for the user, just the progressbar to let them know it's not frozen.

I have tried several things, from changing visibility to visible before the stored procedure is called, and changing it back to hidden after, to spinning a new thread for the SP, and so forth.
